The Gardens are owned and operated by a not-for-profit, charitable organization.
Admission fees and other visitor revenues are used to maintain and develop these Seventeen Acres of Paradise for future generations.
2026 Daily Admission Fees
Prices include tax and your tickets are good for the whole day
May & October: We offer early and late season special admission fees of $15.00 (includes tax)
June – September Admission (all prices include tax):
- Adult $21.00
- Senior (60+) $19.00
- Students (full time, 18-25) $12.00
- Kids under 18 FREE (children must be supervised by an adult)
- AAA/CAA Members, Canadian Armed Forces $19.00
November - April: Admission by donation (suggested $5 per person)
Special rates available for groups of 15 or more people. Please contact us.

Gardens and paths are not maintained from November to April, so you visit at your own risk.

Public washrooms are available nearby at the Town’s Comfort Station on Drury Lane.
Elm Tree Cafe
Closed for the Season
The Cafe will open for the season in early June.

Garden Etiquette
For your safety as well as the safety of others, and for the protection of our plants and features, please observe the following as you enjoy the Historic Gardens.
Children and youth under 16 must be supervised by an adult.
Only registered service animals required by individuals are permitted in the Gardens. Other pets are not permitted, for the care and safety of all visitors, special plants and garden wildlife.
Smoking is not permitted.
Be aware that many plants have toxic properties, so to be safe it is always best NOT to touch any of the plants.
Commercial/wedding photography is permitted by appointment only.
Please stay on designated paths or lawns. Do not stand or walk in garden beds. Do not climb trees or shrubs.
Please do not pick or collect plants, flowers or plant labels.
Please refrain from playing in the fountains or other water features. Do not climb on rock walls or statuary.
Enjoy the tranquility. iPhones, iPods and MP3 devices are permitted only with headphones or earbuds. Be considerate of those around you when using cell phones.
Bicycles are not allowed in the gardens. Bicycles may be secured in a designated area of the public parking lot.
Running and active sports (frisbee, ball playing, kite flying, biking etc.) are not permitted.
Please do not feed the animals and birds, and do not catch or harm birds, butterflies and other wildlife.
Park in designated areas only.
Footwear and shirts must be worn at all times.
Dispose of your trash appropriately in the receptacles provided.
