We always like to wrap up the year by sharing a special collection of photos with you. This year, we've decided to share a look ahead at the beauty one might expect to find here each month of 2026.
Enjoy!

January

January marks the start of a new year,
filled with anticipation of the seasons ahead.
February

February can be a great time to get out and enjoy winter.
Gardens are gorgeous after a snowfall, and early bloomers like the witch hazels
are starting to provide some cheery blossoms.
March

In March we can start to feel spring in the air,
and so can the many bulbs around the Gardens.
Croci and snowdrops begin to bloom.
April

In April, other bulbs join in, as well as many magnolias.
May

In May, the Gardens start to really burst forth with spring colour.
June

June brings so much colour!
Early in the month we enjoy rhodies, azaleas,
laburnum, wisteria, irises... the list goes on.
Then by the end of June we start to see the summer blossoms,
like our roses.
July

July provides many highlights,
from the Rose Collection to the daylilies,
and so much more.
August

In August, our Victorian Garden starts to take centre stage
while other blossoms around the Gardens delight our many visitors.
September

In September, the Victorian Garden is a showstopper,
and the dahlias in the adjacent Knot Garden add vibrant colour.
October

We love October,
with the colour of autumn blossoms mixing nicely with the fall foliage.
November

In November, the vivid autumn colours continue.
And now we can add to that allure, our newly famous "stinky gingko" tree!
December

In December, we prepare for the busy times of the holiday season,
followed by some much needed down time.

Before I sign off, I'd like to take a moment to thank you all for the love and support you show for the Gardens year round. Please feel free to share our Bloom Reports with family & friends, to give them a taste of this Seventeen Acres of Paradise we are so fortunate to have .
To those who have reached out to us recently with holiday greetings, or to express appreciation for this wonderful place and all who make it happen, please know that your best wishes and feedback are a great boost to our staff and volunteers.
From all of us at the Gardens, we wish you everything good in the year ahead.
