About the Author
Horticulturist JESSICA WALLISER, an award-winning garden columnist for the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, is co-owner of SavvyGardening.com, a website that cultivates curiosity and confidence in gardeners. For 15 years, she hosted The Organic Gardeners on KDKA Radio in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Jessica is the author of seven gardening books, including the winner of the 2014 American Horticultural Society Book Award, Attracting Beneficial Bugs to Your Garden, which will be released as a revised and updated edition in December of 2021. Her newest title, Plant Partners, takes a science-based approach to the popular topic of companion planting.
Jessica lives and gardens northwest of Pittsburgh with her husband and son, six chickens, two cats, two hermit crabs, and billions and billions of very good bugs.
