Mi’kmaw Moons: A First Lunar Calendar - by Loretta Gould
A year in Mi'kma'ki through the changing seasons, in English and Mi'kmaw.
In the Mi'kmaw lunar calendar, each month is named after events in the natural world, from snow blinding time, to frogs croaking time, to berry ripening time. Mi'kmaw artist Loretta Gould's colourful art illustrates each of the months, making this a beautiful and enriching introduction to our changing seasons.
