Kitras Art Glass - Blown Glass Oil Lamps

Blown Glass Oil Lamps - When lit the soft glow of the oil lamp flame gives a subtle illumination to the piece making it truly breathtaking.

Included:  Blown Glass Orb and one wick (oil sold separately).

Care Instructions:

Wick - Kitras Art Glass oil lamp wicks are a 2-piece unit including a fiberglass rope and a glass collar.  Please handle with care to ensure these components remain connected.  Adequately soak the wick in a clean burning paraffin oil before lighting it for the first time.

To use lamp:

• Fill your lamp with oil to a maximum of 2/3 full.  At minimum, there must be enough oil to ensure 1/3 of the wick will be submerged in the oil when assembled.
• Insert the wick so the glass collar is resting on the rim of the lamp.  Adjust the rope in the collar, as necessary, to expose a tip roughly 1/8" above the collar.  (Adjusting the height of the wick will alter the size of the flame.  Never attempt to adjust the wick while the lamp is lit or is hot from recent use).
• The assembled lamp should sit for a minimum of 15 minutes allowing time for oil to soak up to the top of the wick.  Once the wick has been properly saturated it should light immediately.

Paraffin oil is not included and can be purchased in store.

A wick is included with each oil lamp purchase, and should last many years, but replacement wicks are available if needed.  Sold separately here:
