A complete reference tool for the East Coast Gardener, this month-by-month guide describes how and when to choose, plant, nurture, and harvest a wide variety of flowers, vegetables, fruit and herbs.  By observing the growth of certain indicator plants and taking into account expected frost dates, gardeners can work out a yearly gardening schedule - indoor and outdoor both - that is perfectly tuned to their own patch of paradise, no matter what the climate.

Accessible and comprehensive, East Coast Gardener pulls together a wealth of information from the Maritimes' foremost gardening expert.  Easy-to-use tables, green-thumb tips, preventative measures, illustrations of basic methods, key points, advanced techniques and more make this a useful and instructive guide for experienced and novice gardeners alike.
